Message from Ven. Karma Yeshe Rabgye
It is with the greatest of pleasure that I accept your invitation to join The Buddhist Forum as an Honorary Scholar. I wholeheartedly support the aims and objectives of the forum, especially their international campaign to bring peace, cultural affiliation and economic development to Asian countries – an extremely noble cause.
One of my main concerns in life is the neglect of ancient Buddhist monuments in Asia, and so I am happy to join the campaign ‘Save Stupas, Save Buddha.’ This campaign wishes to preserve and create awareness about neglected Buddhist sites.
Buddha’s main message was one of Ahimsa, and so I believe the forum, being a unique inter-faith and non-political organisation, will help carry on Buddha’s message into the 21st century.
I will endeavour to forward the noble causes of this forum in every way I can, and I seriously hope lots of people will join the campaign and help ensure a better future for Asia and all of its ancient Buddhist monuments.
I wish The Buddhist Forum every success.
